This time around, I found that my body was getting too warm and I felt overwhelmed, and I couldn’t figure it out until I saw a tip on the quiet room TV before going into my pod that recommended taking a cold shower before getting in the pod to avoid overheating. POINT #1:¬†Birthday Parties and Drinking Canned Wine I am continuing my journey not drinking any alcohol and so I got to witness what drinking a lot of canned wines looked like around me. I saw the consequences of it with severe headaches amongst those that drank it the following day. POINT #2: Stuck in the Headache I feel great, yet there were several people that were partakers of the canned wine after not sleeping well and having headaches afterwards. They claimed it wasn’t because of the wine to have such a big headache, but little actions can lead to big consequences. POINT #2: Birthday Surfing Supersede Doctor’s Orders Though my doctor stated that I couldn’t go surfing until Saturday, I went surfing on my son’s birthday, since even though he’s just turned 19, it’s only been the second time we’ve been able to celebrate his birthday together. I am NOT going to miss another birthday for him, as we’re celebrating my 7 year old daughter’s birthday as well. POINT #3:¬†Spilled Smoothie Between the Legs I had a green smoothie between my legs while backing into my parking spot, and a woman that is backing out of her spot doesn’t see me, so I hit the brakes and the green smoothie goes all over the floor. Fuel 757: Pay the Price, Even When It’s a Year

POINT #1: Periodontal Check Ups and Surfing updates. After my check up from my mouth surgery, I was told that I still have 4-5 days until I can surf again, which will be nearly 12 days of not being in the water. There’s deep therapy that comes to me when I surf, but I took this delay on myself. POINT #2: Wanting Nothing to Do With Stitches My body doesn’t want anything to do with stitches, so I put a band-aid over my Achilles heel which I’ve had multiple surgeries on and avoided the open wound over and over again. This lesson taught me to importance of letting my body properly heal the FIRST time, otherwise I’m going to create a worst situation. POINT #3:¬†Sad Situations that Were Once Small The consequences of dealing with small issues are annoying and inconvenient, and so it’s not until they become a big issue that I take the time to heal. It makes me sad to look at the reality that I can’t get the bacteria from the ocean into my mouth while surfing, eliminating half of 2018 to surf. At least I got a great surf session in with my main main, Jeremy Finlay this morning to become invigorated for the day. POINT #2: My Money is My Mouth I make my money through my mouth and speaking, yet it’s also a part of my body that has required a lot of money in the form of dental implants and so on with my bottom jaw. My teeth are lining up in an unhealthy way that requires 6-9 months of work, but we need to take care of the cavities first. IN TODAY’S FUEL…. POINT #1: Instagram Post Headline I made a post inside of the Instagram this morning about how Porn becomes the problem, not a solution. While taking my daughters to school, I checked in on the post while at a stoplight, which then brought an interesting conversation about porn with my 10 year old and eating corn with my 6 year old. I had always gone to the same room prior to this morning’s float tank experience, but it the pod I was in felt a lot smaller than the other pod I had been using. POINT #2: Uncomfortable in Pure Relaxation I was the problem being too big in a small pod, which has occurred in many other areas in my life in which the progress that I want to achieve is too large for the area that is too small. IN TODAY’S FUEL…. POINT #1: Dealing with¬†Massive Waves (for me) It doesn’t happen very often, but I’ve been dealing with massive waves lately (for me) After breaking my board as mentioned in yesterday’s episode, I learned that there’s a lot of things I still don’t understand, which only comes with experience, usually on what NOT to do. POINT #2: An Experience That’s Difficult to Describe It’s difficult to describe to others what it feels like to do shit that doesn’t come easily, whether it’s boxing, surfing or speaking in front of thousands of people. This brought about a challenge to learn how to do techniques better, like I did when learning how to duck dive on my recent trip to Cabo.
