Fuel 743: My Mind Is a Maniac

http://traffic.libsyn.com/wakeupwarrior/Fuel_743.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download | EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSS IN TODAY’S FUEL…. POINT #1: Living Long¬†Before I Led I was doing the Core 4 this morning like I always do every morning, which I’ve lived long before I started teaching it to anyone else. After I went surfing, I enjoyed a float tank session which helps me transcend my mind. POINT #2: Framing My Pure Moves I speak at the FunnelHacking Event for ClickFunnels in Florida this week and while floating I was outlining my entire moves. My mind was being guided inside of a pure place to find answers, which is exactly what meditation is. POINT #3:¬†Master of My Own Mind When we are able to figure out how to get present, we are able to take us to a place of what is happening right now, rather than what was or what could be. Once I learned how to master and transcend my mind, I learned what is was telling me daily to focus on what was more relevant, in which I owned my mind, rather than having anyone else own it for me. QUESTION OF THE DAY: Where in your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) do you have the least control of your mind? CHALLENGE OF THE DAY: Write in your War Map (journal) or the http://app.warriorbook.com War Board where that area is and what it feels like to be owned in that area by your mind, writing whether or not it’s acceptable. If it’s not, write down what can be done today to help you get to...

Fuel 742: Changes Are Coming….

http://traffic.libsyn.com/wakeupwarrior/Fuel_742.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download | EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSS IN TODAY’S FUEL…. POINT #1: Yet Again I’m Talking¬†About Life One of the changes that comes about constantly in life is in making choices, which brings with it constant pressure. We can either choose change or have change change us on its own. POINT #2: Months of Noise There were months of noise inside of the game to make sense in putting any order or direction into something that I wasn’t choosing to do. When¬†my life is heading in a direction that doesn’t make sense, it will continue to break down until I am willing to listen and change. POINT #3:¬†Choosing to Change This change comes from within, speaking to us to create something new, which requires letting go of something that’s been part of your life that isn’t serving you. The reason why my life works is when I listen to the whisperings of the Voice inside to pull the trigger for change. QUESTION OF THE DAY: Where in your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) are you currently in a place where you must choose change, living a different strategy instead? CHALLENGE OF THE DAY: Write in your War Map (journal) or the http://app.warriorbook.com War Board where that area is and what you’re choosing to change along with the first step to CHOOSE that change. QUOTE OF THE DAY: “When I started choosing to change, I started searching and hunting for powerful possibilities in my life that had never been available to me before. I was stuck and couldn’t adjust because...

Fuel 741: You Don’t KNOW Me

http://traffic.libsyn.com/wakeupwarrior/NEW_FIRE_741.m4aPodcast: Play in new window | Download | EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSS IN TODAY’S FUEL…. POINT #1:¬†Personal Exchanges I had a series of text exchanges with a family member debating about how much I know her and how she is, yet I don’t….I¬†don’t¬†know this family member anymore. We have this idea in our mind of who a person used to be and who we are now. POINT #2: Pretending to Make Adult Connections We get stuck in a rut with our relationships from our past that don’t allow us to become who we actually are today. The story of the past doesn’t match the person of the present, doing this the most with ourselves. POINT #3:¬†Holding Yourself Back We hold ourselves back from being who we need to become by holding ourselves hostage to not grow from the earlier version of ourselves. We have new experiences and considerations that give us a chance to create things that we never could have before. QUESTION OF THE DAY: Where in your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) are you holding yourself back that is in complete conflict to what you currently are? CHALLENGE OF THE DAY: Write in your War Map (journal) or the http://app.warriorbook.com War Board where that area is and what you’re going to do to become the person you are, rather than holding yourself hostage from who you used to be. QUOTE OF THE DAY: “When we look at a person from who they once were, we get stuck in a rut with our relationships because we don’t let people become who they actually...

Fuel 740: We’re Number 56!!! [Special Guest]

http://traffic.libsyn.com/wakeupwarrior/NEW_FIRE_740.m4aPodcast: Play in new window | Download | EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSS IN TODAY’S FUEL…. POINT #1: Clarification Before Date Night My wife and I were notified that our “Date Your Wife” podcast is #56 in all of iTunes, from out of tens of thousands of shows over all. For Danielle, the reason is because we’re relatable by adding value from what works and what doesn’t. POINT #2: A Date in Itself A lot of people don’t take the time to date their spouse, only to wonder later on that their connection isn’t as good as it can be. The podcast we do together gives us an opportunity to communicate even more with each other. POINT #3:¬†Getting to the Point to Train on¬†Real Shit Danielle got to the point of being able to talk about sex, money, parenthood and communication on a show to share with the world by coming to a conclusion as we each hold our own when there’s tension as well as a debate. It takes time to get on the same page and deploy something with another ¬†person, in this case with my wife to train on stage and within podcasts. QUESTION OF THE DAY: Where in your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) did you think that you had a great idea years ago, making a commitment to yourself that you’re going to do something but it hasn’t happened yet? CHALLENGE OF THE DAY: Write in your War Map (journal) or the http://app.warriorbook.com War Board what it would take to get that thing off the ground in the next week....

Fuel 739: Decisions Have Consequences

http://traffic.libsyn.com/wakeupwarrior/Fuel_739.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download | EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSS IN TODAY’S FUEL…. POINT #1: A Glorious Day of Conversations It was a great first day at my Strategic Coach Mastermind in Chicago, which I’ll go into more detail about in the next podcast, but what made today glorious involved conversations. They involved looking at the big picture while operating on a small scale. POINT #2: Micro and Macro Experiences These experiences are on the micro and macro level, looking at things from a small or large perspective There are micro and macro decisions that are made everyday, but sometimes we make micro decisions without looking at the macro picture. POINT #3:¬†Look at the Big Picture It’s unsustainable to live a life of dieting in an extreme game, and daily routines are about sustaining the macro patterns through micro experiences. This brings long term results that stick. QUESTION OF THE DAY: Where in your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) are you currently stuck in the game of playing into a micro situation that makes sense at the time but in the macro picture, you’re fucking yourself? CHALLENGE OF THE DAY: Write in your War Map (journal) or the http://app.warriorbook.com War Board where that area is and what would have to change to make that micro experience a macro one instead. QUOTE OF THE DAY: “Many people make decisions on the micro level without looking at the macro experience, or the Big Picture that those small decisions will make in the long run, depriving them of a limited perspective.” — Garrett J White...

Fuel 738: To Drink…Or To Create?

http://traffic.libsyn.com/wakeupwarrior/Fuel_738.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download | EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSS IN TODAY’S FUEL…. POINT #1: From John Wayne to O’Hare¬† I was flying from John Wayne Airport in Orange County to the Chicago O’Hare Airport, sitting in first class to go and attend Dan Sullivan’s Strategic Coaching Mastermind I’ve noticed that I enjoy the traveling just as much as the Mastermind session because of the Zone that I get myself in. POINT #2: Grinding Instead of Drinking I was grinding away getting work done during my flight, while the man next to me was drinking one screwdriver after another until he passed out. There are many paths that we are presented with each day, presented with choices. POINT #3:¬†Creating or Sedating Everyday we are presented with paths to create or sedate. Your sedation is costing you your creation. QUESTION OF THE DAY: Where in your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) do you find yourself in a sedation loop? CHALLENGE OF THE DAY: Write in your War Map (journal) or the http://app.warriorbook.com War Board where you are looped into a sedation, and what the cost is for being caught in that sedation loop instead of creating. QUOTE OF THE DAY: “Life delivers us up with choices, and there’s a time and space for work and relaxation. Along the way of every single day, we are presented with opportunities to sedate or create. Imagine what could be possible if you chose creation over sedation.” — Garrett J White HAVE YOU SEEN THE WAKE UP WARRIOR DOCUMENTARY? CLICK HERE TO VIEW...

Fuel 737: I Tried It! And It Didn’t Work…

http://traffic.libsyn.com/wakeupwarrior/Fuel_737.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download | EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSS IN TODAY’S FUEL…. POINT #1:¬†Messaging¬†About Melting Brains I had a client that messaged me about how he’s stressed the fuck out, feeling like his brain had been melting on him, even using a float tank to help him relax. He tried it once, quitting on himself too soon when it didn’t give him the results that he thought he needed the first time. POINT #2: Relieve the Pressure Too often, we treat ourselves like shit for years and then quite after trying something new and not seeing immediate results. We have to shift and keep going until it creates the results that we desire, expecting it to have resistance the first time we do it. POINT #3:¬†We All Fail At First It’s inevitable that whenever we try something new, it’s NOT going to go as planned and we will fail. It requires reps with a ruthless commitment to go all in in order to create lasting change. QUESTION OF THE DAY: Where in your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) are you currently pulling the “I Tried” strategy and then you quit after one time or shit got hard? CHALLENGE OF THE DAY: Write in your War Map (journal) or the http://app.warriorbook.com War Board where you tapped out after one rep and the cost that we have inside of our world because it got hard, then write down what you know you can do today to shift that reality to get back into the game. QUOTE OF THE DAY: “We have destructive patterns...

Fuel 736: Growth is Measured By Looking Back

http://traffic.libsyn.com/wakeupwarrior/Fuel_736.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download | EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSS IN TODAY’S FUEL…. POINT #1: Running a Software Company Software programming demands perfect operations, otherwise the code behind it breaks. Owning my own Software company gives me a TON of appreciation for anyone that works on the backend to make Software function for us. POINT #2: Producing Amazing Opportunities Through Growth Software provides us with opportunities to see the growth that we have had, like the Facebook Memories that show us where we were on the exact same day previous years. The picture that I posted in 2013 going on a date has brought me to the place that I am in 2018 of establishing Episode 10 of the Date Your Wife podcast. POINT #3:¬†Measuring Growth by Looking Back I look at my world and who I’ve become and forget how far I’ve come and grown until I look back to where I was. Is your life better today than it was 5 years ago? You may discover that it’s mind bending to make this realization. QUESTION OF THE DAY: Where in each area of ¬†your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) are you better today than you were at this time a year ago? CHALLENGE OF THE DAY: Write in your War Map (journal) or the http://app.warriorbook.com War Board the thoughts that come up for me when you look at what’s working and what isn’t working. QUOTE OF THE DAY: “I am mesmerized by how different I am today from the man that I was years ago. The commitment that I gave...

Fuel 735: Five Hours to Decompress

http://traffic.libsyn.com/wakeupwarrior/Fuel_735.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download | EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSS IN TODAY’S FUEL…. POINT #1: Waking Up With Zero Fire There are days that we feel the opposite of fire to be motivated to tackle the day with what I refer to as The Freeze. It feels like the weight of the world is upon us, and nothing we do is going to change that problem most days that we wake up instead. POINT #2:¬†Swapping Out the¬†Blanket of Fear The Blanket of Fear becomes the cause of The Freeze, compared to the Blanket of Fire that drives us towards success and production. We’ve been taught that it’s a default game to wake up on fire, and that’s when commitment pushes us through. POINT #3:¬†Deactivating Default Mode Regardless of how much we don’t want to do something, it’s what’s required in order to produce at the level that’s expected to live the Warrior’s Way. For me, I take up to 5 hours of my day in order to do that for myself, discovering that in so doing, I am able to reignite the fire as I deactivate the default mode of no motivation. QUESTION OF THE DAY: Where in your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) are you stuck in default mode yet hoping for a miracle? CHALLENGE OF THE DAY: Write in your War Map (journal) or the http://app.warriorbook.com War Board one thing you can do to light yourself on fire to avoid default mode. QUOTE OF THE DAY: “It didn’t matter that I woke up not on fire. We think that it’s...

Fuel 734: Pump Up Your Tires!!!

http://traffic.libsyn.com/wakeupwarrior/Fuel_734.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download | EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSS IN TODAY’S FUEL…. POINT #1: A Glorious Day Pumping Air Today was a glorious day as I filled up the air in one of my cars, as we’ve been swapping around ¬†cars after my wife’s recent purchase of a Bentley. I’ve never been one of those kind of men that has any interest in puttering around on my cars for fun. POINT #2: Driving a Tank with a Ferrari Motor Our family G-Wagon is like driving a really fast tank with an elite Ferrari engine, and it hasn’t been a vehicle I’ve been driving lately. It wasn’t until I began driving it around corners that I felt a mushy feeling, discovering the psi on the tires was really low. POINT #3:¬†An Irritated Mind I created the foundation for my irritation ignoring¬†the pressure on these tires. It takes significantly longer to correct what would have been a simple issue to check in on before it got too low. QUESTION OF THE DAY: Where in your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) have you been ignoring the “psi/tire pressure on your vehicle” to get low and neglected? CHALLENGE OF THE DAY: Write in your War Map (journal) or the http://app.warriorbook.com War Board where that area is and how it feels to realize you’ve neglected, then see what you can do about it today. QUOTE OF THE DAY: “Here was the harsh reality; I created the problem of the low pressure on the tires to our family vehicle. I created the foundation of the irritation through...
